I made teriyaki broiled salmon and some brussels sprouts. Simple and delicious.

I’m with you on the salmon but not sold on the sprouts at all.
I’m still at work but I’ll be having wagyu beef burgers. Haven’t decide what will accompany them yet.

Brussel sprouts are delicious when cooked properly, and I will fight anyone who disagrees.

Kale, white bean and vegan sausage soup that I happened to take a pretty picture of because my sister says I should try to be an Instagram vegan food celebrity.

I ate four Taco Bell quesaritos at once and am now quite uncomfortable to say the least.

I gave up taco bell a few months ago and “upgraded” to taco time because I was dying on the inside. A little more expensive, but with far less indigestion!

You and my wife would get along... except at the very end where she’d sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.

Went to my favorite restaurant in El Paso tonight. Small, family-run joint, small menu done right, bring your own bottle of wine, the owner makes the mozzarella fresh every morning.
I don’t usually take pictures of my food, but I sometimes do when I eat there. In the true mark of good food, the rest of that calzone will actually be even better cold for lunch tomorrow. Also, I’ve had most of a bottle of wine.

I’m just had bacon and whiskey, because at this point I think I’m subconsciously refusing to learn how to actually cook.

How to cook:
Mix up things you like
Add heat
Serve when ready

Some well-spiced, cut-it-with-a-fork chicken breast and crispy sweet potato chunks. Nom
If you ever get a chance there’s a great little butcher shop on Juanita drive, halfway between Kirkland and Kenmore. Little hole-in-the-wall place, but they serve a lot of the high end steak places in Seattle and oh man do they have good stuff. Cheap too!

Honestly food’s one of the very few things I think it’s worth it to spend a bit more on to get a better product. Problem is at 11pm there’s not much open around me besides Taco Bell and McDonald’s, and after seeing what went on behind the scenes at the McDonald’s I worked at in high school I avoid that place like the plague.
Also I’ve never heard of Taco Time before so I googled it; turns out there’s a completely unrelated Mexican food franchise in the Midwest also called
Taco Time
. Who knew.

I have tried this many times and it didn’t go well. I’ll just stick with heating up things from cans. Or just skip the heating part...

Let’s just say, I wouldn’t fight you over them.

Bizarre.
Don’t get me wrong, when I’m coming home from a place that may or may not serve alcohol, I’m pulling over at a Jack in the Box or Taco Bell for sure.

I went out to my favorite pizza joint for a pie and a cider. Mine is almost what is shown above, but the right side was the Greek pizza (pesto, chicken, feta, onions, etc.) The half on the left was interesting, but I’m not sure what the mushy beige lumps are; I’ll have to look at the menu to find out, but I know I don’t want them again.
It wasn’t as good as last week’s half Greek/half pepperoni as it seemed a little undercooked on the left side, but on the bright side I didn’t drop the first slice in my lap like I did last week....

You’d be ok if you had my usual 7-layer burrito, no cheese, no sour cream, extra guac, add black beans, potatoes, jalapeños and onions.
(The Taco Bell app comes in handy so I don’t have to recite that at the drive thru.)

I haven’t actually tried the stuff. So far of the fake vegan approximations of manufactured food products that I’ve tried, I rank them thusly, in order of most to least appealing:
Chicken nuggets
Sausage
Almond coconut milk
Soy coffee creamer
Lunch meat
Ham roast
Cheese

I have your back on the brussel sprouts, but not the beers. Too fruity for me.
Though unfortunately, it’s looking like beer in general is going to be too gluten-ey for me (sobs uncontrollably).

WAILUA WHEAT <3
Ahem. Two eggs, scrambled, with a bit of parmesan and black pepper; biscuit; sliced pear; cannabis chocolate truffle.

I’ll have to give that a shot next time by. I normally get a few steak quesaritos if I’m feeling fancy or just buy like five of the mini chicken quesadillas for cost effectiveness.
